Christmas Ornament Greeting Trio
Christmas will soon be here and you'll not want to miss out on having Christmas and holiday cards to send out to your friends and family. What makes my cards unique? Well they are all designed, painted or photographed by myself and you'll feel good knowing that you're helping to support the efforts of artist that are trying to bring their creativity to the world and make a modest income at it. Most artists and photographers create art to deliver their vision, creativity and love of the field to the masses with little thought to profiting from it. That being said, it is expensive and time consuming and many artists need a little financial support along the way so that they can continue to bring their vision, their passion and their love of beautiful things to the world. By purchasing products with my art, you are not donating money to me, you're receiving a part of my creativity and you will have a one of a kind unique product that others will not have. Isn't it good to know that when you purchase a piece of art from an artist that no one can say that you bought it off the wrack at some store as an after thought? They will know that you took the time to purchase something that not only supports artists like myself, but also chose something unique that no one else will have. Thank you for taking the time to look at some of my work here.

This little snowman will make any recipient smile when they receive it in the mail. What's more you're supporting an artist that not only is trying to support themselves but also a mom of three. Just like when I have baked goodies for my kids, I put love into every thing I create and these holiday cards and designs are no exception. I make each and every piece individually and with love. As such you can rest easy knowing that you're also giving a unique gift that your friends and family will not find on any drugstore shelf, created by an award winning artist and photographer that is just trying to support themselves and share their love of all art. Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at some of my creations here.

These Coffee mugs are perfect to give as gifts and when combined with the matching Christmas card make a special gift unlike any other you'll find.

This cute Santa Claus is an original acrylic painting I did, and the very first Santa Claus I have ever painted. I tried to place a lot of details into his expression right down to the mischievous twinkle in his blue eyes. I truly wanted him to look like "He know's when you are sleeping, he knows when you're awake.." as the song goes. I hope you find is cute smile and his flowing beard, as endearing as we all know the Jolly one is that visits your home and your little ones.
Below is some mugs and steins that also feature him that are for sale on Amazon.com Enjoy!

Transforming Photographs to Art
| Generic Daisy Photo |
Nothing thrills me more than taking let's say a mundane, generic photograph, or even one that is flawed and breathing new life into it through the magic of photoshop. Now honestly, I am no professional photographer nor am I very adept at photoshop, but I am an artist and as such, never let my ignorance of technology keep me from creating.
The photograph of yellow Daisies to the left was taken in the very early days of my photography and as such lacks a lot of pizzazz if not skill. That being said, with a little photo editing software, one can create all sorts of interesting art with it, as I will illustrate here.
What I can tell you is that if there is an easier way to achieve a comparable result using Photoshop, I'll use it and find it,...in time. So while I can't say there aren't better ways of doing some of these transformations, I can say it was fun and easy to do it my way. If you're interested in learning any of my techniques, I may put together a youtube video if there is any interest.
Here is yet another way to get a lovely bit of creativity by creating these water drops. I looked online for tutorials on this and found many to be just too labor intensive, complicated with so many additional steps it hardly seemed worth it. But the technique I used incorporated only a few tricks of the Photoshop tools and took really only minutes to do.
